The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has issued third notice to the Punjab authorities officers within the matter of allegations of sexual misconduct against Punjab cupboard minister Lal Chand Kataruchak after the state authorities failed to submit motion taken report to the fee regardless of the 2 prior notices.
In the third notice, NCSC directed Punjab’s Chief Secretary, Director General of Police and DIG Border Range Amritsar to instantly file assertion of the sufferer by video-conference or in individual in Delhi, present him safety, and submit ATR by June 12.
Taking sturdy notice of the grievance by one Keshav Kumar, who had made accusations of sexual misconduct against Punjab cupboard minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, the fee headed by chairman Vijay Sampla had on May 5 issued first notice to the Punjab authorities officers and had requested them to submit rapid motion taken report and supply safety to the sufferer, who was receiving menace calls from the minister.

Subsequently, the NCSC had on May 25 issued a second notice to the state authorities. Looking on the Punjab authorities’s delay in offering justice in addition to safety to the sufferer, NCSC chairman Vijay Sampla mentioned, “Despite repeated notices, no strong motion has been taken by the state authorities. In repeated complaints to NCSC, the sufferer Keshav Kumar demanded justice in addition to safety, citing threats.
