Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, slipped down three positions — to 44th rank — within the listing of academic establishments of the newest National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2023, rating, launched by Union Education Ministry on Monday.
Last 12 months, PU was ranked 41.
Chandigarh University (CU), Punjab, — a personal college — has been ranked 45 within the total prime 100 academic institute within the nation, whereas LPU Jalandhar ranks 46.
GNDU Amritsar ranked 87, whereas Panjab Agriculture University Ludhiana is ranked 74 in listing.
In Pharmacy class, Panjab University slipped to eighth place within the newest rankings. Last 12 months, PU was on third place. The pharmacy class was topped by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad.
However, in some excellent news for the area, PGI Chandigarh is ranked because the second finest medical institute in nation.
