Mumbai: Leeford Healthcare has announced to invest Rs 200 crore over the next three years to scale its orthopedic and mobility aids division.
Sharing the expansion plan details Neha Gupta, Director, Leeford Healthcare said, “..a sizable share of this investment will go for upgradation of our manufacturing facility for orthopaedic and mobility aids and the remaining funds will be utilised for marketing, advertising & penetration in newer towns.”
“We are also planning to expand our geographical spread across majority of pincodes in India,” she added.
As part of this expansion, the company has also launched a celebrity campaign: ‘Fit Raho, Hit Raho,’ with bollywood actor and fitness icon, Tiger Shroff.
The Punjab-based company started its orthopedic division in 2023 and presently markets around 32 products, including lumbar belts, posture correctors, cervical collars, knee caps, wrist, ankle supports, and sports recovery aids.
By end of financial year (FY) 26-27, it plans to expand to 50 products with 20 new product launches planned, in the prevention, and sports wellness segments.
Leeford operates a WHO-GMP–compliant manufacturing site in Ludhiana and is planning a twofold expansion of its retail footprint while improving its D2C model with e-commerce and quick commerce platforms.
Besides orthopedics, it also manufactures and markets several other cosmeceutical and wellness products.
