Ludhiana, May 15
Forty children had been injured in a head-on collision between a school bus and a Punjab Roadways bus in Jagraon, about 50 km from Ludhiana on Monday, police stated.
Ten passengers travelling in the roadways bus had been additionally injured, they stated.
(*40*) the injured had been taken to hospitals in Ludhiana. The situation of the three children is said to be critical.
Ludhiana Rural Police District Superintendent of Police (SP) Satinder Singh Virk stated, “The school bus was going to drop college students again at their houses when the incident occurred”.
Investigations are nonetheless occurring to determine the reason for the accident, he added.
