Punjab Police on Thursday stated that they had busted a world gang concerned within the cross-border smuggling of arms and narcotics with the arrest of 13 folks and restoration of heroin price over Rs 34 lakh.
“In a significant breakthrough Gurdaspur police busted a world gang of cross border arms and narcotic smugglers whereas making an enormous restoration,” Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav stated in a tweet.
A complete of 13 smugglers had been arrested, he stated, including {that a} main extortion and goal killing have been averted with this improvement.
“Recovered 4.52 Kg Heroin, Rs 34.72 Lakh drug cash, 6 pistols and extra…A serious extortion and goal killing was averted. The total ecosystem linked inside gangs was unearthed,” the DGP stated in one other tweet.
