The Border Security Force (BSF) seized over 15 kg of narcotics after taking pictures at a drone close to the International Border in the Amritsar sector in the early hours of Tuesday.
“A rogue drone from Pakistan violated the Indian airspace and was intercepted by BSF troops by taking pictures at it,” a BSF officer stated.
During search of the realm, two large packets, weighing 15.5 kg, suspected to comprise heroin, have been recovered close to Kakkar village in Amritsar district, he added.

Meanwhile, the BSF is holding a joint assembly with senior Punjab Police officers in Amritsar on Wednesday to debate varied points pertaining to frame administration and inner safety.
