The body of Morinda Gurdwara sacrilege accused Jasvir Singh, who died at civil hospital in Mansa on Monday, was dropped at Rajindra Hospital in Patiala for postmortem on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials at the Rajindra Hospital stated they’d fashioned a three-member board of docs to hold out the autopsy.
The sacrilege incident accused was lodged in Mansa Jail, the place he complained of respiratory downside.
He was taken to the civil hospital, the place he died on Monday evening. The complete incident had already led to uproar amongst Sikh neighborhood in the state.
Meanwhile, nobody from the household of the deceased claimed the body till Tuesday afternoon.
Police stored tight-lipped concerning the proceedings in the mortuary.
Dr Harnam Singh Reikhi, medical superintendent at Rajindra Hospital, stated he had fashioned a three-member committee of docs to hold out the autopsy.
Judicial Magistrate of Mansa, Harpreet Singh, additionally reached the mortuary to supervise the autopsy course of.
Late evening, police officers stated nobody from the person’s household had come to assert the body. Patiala DSP Sanjeev Singla stated, “The dead-body has not been claimed by his relations. It has been stored at the hospital’s mortuary for it to be claimed by the relations”.
