An earthquake jolted parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhw province on Tuesday.
Tremors were reported in Lahore,, Islamabad, Peshawar, Malakand, Multan, Chiniot, Bhakkar, Lakki Marwat, Swat, South Waziristan, Chitral, Chakwal, Kamalia, Hafizabad, Gujrat, Sargodha, Pakpattan, Mianwali, Kasur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Sheikhupura, Okara, Faisalabad and other areas.
The epicentre of the magnitude 5.4 earthquake was located 31 kilometres west of Karor in Punjab province’s Layyah district at a depth of 10 kilometres, according to the United States Geological Survey.
There were not immediate reports confirming any loss of life or property.
