Duleep Trophy 2024 match between India A and India B at the MA Chidambaram Stadium is the opening fixture of India’s domestic league. The match between Shubman Gill’s India A vs Abhimanyu Easwaran’s India B is a star-studded affair including many India star cricketers and has provided fans with the chance to flock to the venue and watch their favourite stars.
However, Indian fast bowler Avesh Khan had to deal with the ghosts of the past as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans made him remember his iconic celebration that he pulled out after hitting the winning runs for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) against RCB back in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

RCB Fans Send Avesh Khan On Trip Down Memory Lane
When Avesh was fielding near the boundary for his team during the India A vs India B match at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, a segment of the crowd responded with jeers and RCB chants, as payback for his celebratory act from last year’s IPL event.
Fans taunted him with “RCB-RCB” chants, but Avesh Khan, staying cool and composed, enjoyed the lively atmosphere and encouraged the crowd to chant even more. In a viral video, Avesh was seen actively motivating the fans to keep up their enthusiastic cheering.

Notably, Avesh had made headlines with a dramatic celebration by throwing his helmet after hitting the winning runs for LSG against RCB in Match 15 of IPL 2023 at the same venue. This celebration went viral. RCB later took the revenge in the reverse fixture, leading to a major on-field confrontation between Kohli and Afghanistan’s Naveen-ul-Haq, as well as Kohli and then LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir, during the 43rd match of the season at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
