New Delhi: The BJP has deliberate a campaign from April 6-14 to spotlight Congress chief Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from the Lok Sabha as a choice stemming from his “insult to OBCs (different backward courses)” and the work performed by the Modi authorities for the group.
On Tuesday, the BJP’s OBC members from each Houses took out a march from Parliament complicated to Vijay Chowk protesting against Gandhi’s feedback on the “Modi surname”, which led to his disqualification, and demanded an apology.
Union minister Smriti Irani, who defeated Gandhi within the 2019 basic election from Amethi, termed his refusal to apologise to the OBC group for his “indecent” feedback yet one more “manifestation of the Gandhi household’s political vanity”.
