Munnar -Thekkady-Alleppey house boat-Kollam-Kanyakumari-Kovalam and Trivandrum.

Munnar is one of the famous and hills station in Kerala and it’s the best choice for the first destination , It’s better we have 2night stay in Munnar then we can enjoy the most important places.On First day we can cover Cochin to Munnar on the way sightseeing and Tea plantations there we can take beautiful pics.If you want to explore any adventure activities first day is the best choice. Second day we can explore the beautiful destinations like Eravikulam national park (It’s better you can book the tickets in Online), then Tea museum,Echo point Mattuppetty dam ,Kundala lake ,Pothenmedu View point and Botanical garden. After Munnar we can move to Thekkady it’s around 3 to 4hours journey. One day is enough for Thekkady and it’s famous for the Periyar wild life sanctuary there are two options to cover the sanctuary through Boating ,most of the guest prefer Boating and other option is Jeep safari this tickets also we can book through the online.There was an Elephant junction there,if you are interested for Elephant ride and elephant bath you must visit .In the evening if you guy’s intrested to watch the Martial arts show like Kalaripayattu and Cultural show like Kadhakali is also you can watch there.
The next destination is Alleppey, Thekkady to Alleppey is around 3 to 4 hours journey and it’s famous for House boat . House boats are unique and it’s rates are varying depend upon the quality of the house boat and the services provide by the house boat company.Deluxe is the normal standard one and Ac operted 9Pm to 6Am only.And the premium one is the better one ac is available full time in the room itself and luxury one is the Glass covered house boat Ac available in every where .In house boat you can relax and explore the freshly prepared traditional delicacies.And the Timing is 12 to 1pm is the Check in and next day 9Am is the Check out.
After Alleppey we can move to Kollam, Alleppey to Kollam is around 2 hours journey .And Munroe Island is the must visit place in Kollam, it’s a hidden pearl in the backwaters which is composed of a cluster of 8 Island.Each of them is separated by small water channels and lakes. There are 2 canal cruises daily to Munroe Island conducted by the Kollam DTPC.
After Kollam the next destination is Kanyakumari, Kollam to Kanyakumari is around 4 to 5 hours journey and it’s Southern tips of India.Vivekananda Rock , Sunset and Sun rise is the famous attraction in Kanyakumari .If you want to visit Vivekananda rock we need to take a boat ride and it’s available till 4pm so on that day we can enjoy the Sunset and relax on that day then next morning we can visit the Vivekananda rock (8am to 4pm)and Sun rise.
After Covering Kanyakumari we can move to Kovalam so on that day we can enjoy the Kovalam beach sightseeing and stay in a beach resort and next day we can explore the Trivandrum sightseeing like: Sree padmanabha Swami temple (temple timing -5am to 11am and 3pm to 6.30 pm),Kuthiramalika palace museum, Napier museum,Sree chitra art Gallery, Zoological park and Azhimala temple and planetarium. Then on that day we can stay in Kovalam beach resort because beach resort stay is more comfortable and relaxing compared to Trivandrum city stay.
Then last day it’s better you can take the return from Trivandrum itself , Cochin drop is also possible but it’s a long journey, it will take around more than 7hours traveling ,So it’s better we can avoid the long rush journey and return to your home with sweet memories.
