National, 8th December 2023: Today, Herbalife India and Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences in Solan, Himachal Pradesh inked a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to include direct selling in the online Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programmes.
People can now become entrepreneurs and advance their careers and personal lives by working in the direct selling sector. Enhancing one’s skills is vital for progress since it allows workers to become more proficient in leadership, sales, and other areas of company. This partnership with prestigious Shoolini University intends to highlight direct selling as a powerful marketing tool and highlight the direct selling sector in India as a driver of job creation, economic expansion, and entrepreneurship.
Under the terms of the MoU, Herbalife India and Shoolini University will work together to establish a Centre of Excellence for Direct Selling in Academics (CEDSA). The university’s MBA and BBA curricula will now offer a specialisation in “Direct Selling Management” as a result of the agreement between the two knowledge partners. The next academic year, in 2023–2024, will mark the start of the newly reorganised programmes.
