The BJP announced today that it will hold a mega meeting of 38 parties under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting comes just days after 26 opposition parties met in Bengaluru to discuss a united front against the ruling BJP at the center.
BJP National President JP Nadda said that the meeting will be an opportunity to review the performance of the NDA government and to set the agenda for the upcoming 2024 general elections. He also highlighted the achievements of the Modi government, such as its strong leadership, zero tolerance for corruption, and effective handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With less than a year to go for the elections, both the BJP and the opposition are busy fine-tuning their strategies and reaching out to allies. The NDA meeting in Delhi is seen as a way for the BJP to consolidate its support base and to send a message to the opposition that it is confident of winning the next elections.
