Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, on Saturday announced to quit politics and cut ties with her family a day after the party suffered a major setback, securing only 25 seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections.
She said that she is quitting politics and severing ties with the family on the advice of RJD rebel Sanjay Yadav and Rameez Alam.
“I’m quitting politics and I’m disowning my family… This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had asked me to do …nd I’m taking all the blame,” she said in a post on X.
