A person allegedly beheaded his 60-year-old maternal uncle over black magic suspicion and walked round two kilometers with his severed head and axe in hands in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh earlier than being nabbed by the police, an official stated on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Friday in Karimati village situated in the jurisdiction of Jamodi police station, round 10 kms from the district headquarters, he stated, including that the 26-year-old accused suspected his uncle to be creating issues for him by performing black magic on him.
Jamodi police station in-charge Sheshmani Mishra stated that the accused, Lalbahadur Gaud, went to his maternal uncle Maksudan Singh Gaud’s home on Friday and hit him on the neck with an axe following an argument.
“The assault was so intense that his uncle’s head received severed from the physique,” he stated.
Mishra stated that after the killing, the accused began strolling in direction of to the police station by holding the severed head and the axe in his hands, however the cops arrested him halfway after being alerted.
The accused stated his uncle was creating issues for him by means of black magic and that he had requested him many instances not to take action.
However, his uncle was not able to relent, the official stated quoting the accused.
After he reached his uncle’s home on Friday, each of them entered into an argument, following which the accused attacked him in a match of rage, he stated.
Mishra stated the accused was arrested for homicide and investigation into the case is on.
