Veteran journalist Kamal Khan, who was related to NDTV for over 30 years, died of a coronary heart assault on Friday morning. He was 61.

Khan was at his residence in Lucknow when he suffered the center assault. He is survived by his spouse and son.
Khan was identified for his balanced reporting, principally from Uttar Pradesh as he was based mostly in Lucknow. For his journalism, Khan acquired the Ramnath Goenka Award in 2010.
In an e mail about its government editor’s loss of life, NDTV mentioned, ‘It is a horrible, horrible day for NDTV. We have misplaced Kamal Khan; he was 61 and the center and soul of our Lucknow bureau, an NDTV veteran who had boundless time and sort phrases for anybody who encountered him.’
Several journalists and politicians throughout get together strains paid tributes to Khan.
A press release from UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s workplace mentioned, ‘Yogi Adityanath ji has condoled the loss of life of senior journalist Kamal Khan. Praying for the peace of the departed soul, the Chief Minister expressed his condolences to the bereaved members of the family.’
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, ‘The passing of Kamal Khan ji, who emerged as a critical voice of journalism, may be very unhappy! The deep voice of his fact will at all times stay… My heartfelt tribute!’
‘Shocked to listen to concerning the passing away of senior journalist Kamal Khan ji. I met him just some days in the past and we mentioned many factor. He saved alive the values of fact and public curiosity in journalism. My deepest condolences to his members of the family,’ tweeted Congress common secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Her brother and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi wrote, ‘The information of Kamal Khan’s demise is gloomy. He was an excellent and revered journalist. My condolences to his family members.’
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati had been amongst others who paid their tributes to Khan.
