India is on track to meet its local weather commitments beneath the Paris Agreement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi famous in a gathering with US Special Presidential Envoy John Kerry on Wednesday.
“Prime Minister famous that India is dedicated to assembly its nationally decided contributions beneath the Paris Agreement and that it was among the many few nations on track to meet these commitments,” the Prime Minister’s Office stated in a press release.
Kerry’s four-day go to to India ends on Thursday. He has met a number of ministers and different civil society representatives in Delhi.
At the assembly, Kerry identified that the US would assist India’s local weather plans by facilitating reasonably priced entry to inexperienced applied sciences and requisite finance, the assertion stated.
