BATHINDA: Wanted within the Republic Day violence, gangster-turned-social activist Lakhvir Singh, alias Lakha Sidhana, was seen at a ‘kisan mahapanchayat’ in Mehraj village of Bathinda district on Tuesday.
The Delhi Police have introduced a reward of Rs 1 lakh to anybody offering details about Sidhana.
The rally was organised at the grain market of Mehraj, the ancestral village of Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
On Friday, in a Facebook video message, Sidhan had requested individuals to take part within the ‘mahapanchayat’ on February 23 in giant numbers.
He together with Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu was booked by the police after the Sikh spiritual flag was hoisted by protesters at the Red Fort.
