👉…Threatens to the take battle from roads to Parliament, if ordinances not withdrawn: Bhagwant Mann
Chandigarh, June 11
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President and Member of Parliament (MP) Bhagwant Mann has announced that all district units of the party would submit memorandums to Punjab governor VP Singh Badnore through deputy commissioners (DCs) against the three anti-Punjab and anti-farmer ordinances brought out by the Modi Government at the centre against the rights of the state and farmers, on June 12.
In a statement issued from party headquarters in Chandigarh on Thursday, Bhagwant Mann said that the Farmers Product Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Support) Ordinance 2020, Price Guarantee and Farmers (Empowerment and Security) Ordinance 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Ordinance 2020 introduced by the Modi Government, were not acceptable at any cost as they posed a potential threat not only to the survival of farmers but also for agriculture in the state, claiming it was an attack on the legitimate rights of the state.
Mann said that Aam Aadmi Party would wage a grim battle for the rights of Punjab’s peasantry from streets to the Parliament.
